  • How is concierge medicine different from traditional healthcare?
    In a traditional healthcare model, doctors see thousands of patients, which can mean long wait times, scheduling challenges, and rushed appointments. Concierge doctors take on fewer patients to focus on developing enriching relationships to provide more personalized, accessible care. Concierge medicine benefits include same-day appointments, mobile visits, and a direct line to your doctor. Here’s an example of what a visit might look like. Let’s say your child was playing at school and came home with a sore and swollen wrist. As a DASH Health Member, you can call, text, or mail us —even including a picture of the injury! From there, we’d order an X-ray at the most convenient local radiology center. Next, you can take your child to have the X-ray. Then, the result is faxed to Dash Health, usually within 1-2 hours. Finally, we’d call with the results and set up the next steps. We manage most injuries, including fractures, in the office or at your home.
  • Do I really need concierge medicine?
    Think about the last time you were sick. How did it feel to call your doctor only to learn there were no appointments and show up at an urgent care clinic with an hour or more wait time? Concierge medicine elevates your wellness experience, giving you the care you need when you need it. Put your health first and invest in your wellness.
  • How do I sign up for a membership?
    Signing up is easy! Visit our membership page, pick the plan that fits your needs, and schedule a FREE consultation call to complete your signup.
  • Do you accept insurance?
    We do not accept insurance of any kind. Our monthly memberships cover preventative and urgent care needs and provide access to a direct doctor line. This means no copays, no deductibles, and no surprise bills for our patients — just elevated, accessible, DIRECT care.
  • What happens if I need lab work, X-rays, CT, or other scans?
    It’s simple! We’ll send the lab order for blood work electronically, and you will go to the lab to have your blood drawn. We will contact you by phone to discuss the results in 1-2 days. For more immediate results, we can arrange for a lab tech to come to your home. We have contracted with local radiology centers and laboratories in the Houston area to provide you with low-cost, cash-priced imaging and lab services, so you know you’re getting the best rate.
  • Does this replace insurance?
    NO. While our memberships cover preventative and urgent care, they do not replace comprehensive health insurance. We recommend all our patients carry insurance to cover unexpected surgeries, hospitalizations, and specialist or ER visits.
  • Can I see you without a DASH Health membership?
    Yes, you can! We offer non-member services, including in-office and at-home urgent care visits. However, we encourage you to subscribe to an annual or monthly plan to take advantage of all the benefits of concierge medicine.
  • Do you offer plans for small business owners?
    Yes. In addition to individual and family plans, we offer employee benefit plans for small-business owners. You can customize these plans to fit your business needs. Our plans don’t replace employee health insurance but give your team an additional benefit to help them through sick days or unexpected urgent care needs. Learn more on our small business page.
